AMUSE RENTACAR offers two compensation plans in case of an accident.
Either or both can be purchased optionally, so please select one or both at the time of reservation.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Out-of-pocket expenses for accidents

This system covers the deductible for property and vehicle incurred to the customer in the event of an accident.
However, if multiple accidents occur in the same rental, only the first accident will be covered. Please apply at the time of rental.

*This is not insurance.
*You may neither accept nor cancel the CDW system in the midst of your rental period.
*Please inform us of all drivers at the time of receiving the vehicle.
*If the driver who receives the rental vehicle or the driver indicated at the time of rental has had accidents in the past and is deemed unsuitable by AMUSE RENTACAR, we reserve the right to deny enrollment.

Failure to notify us and report the accident to the police will result in the loss of all coverage.

Non-Operation Charges (NOC)

This is a system that covers the fees (non-operation charge) which is the responsibility of the customer as part of the compensation for loss of business in the event of an accident, theft, breakdown, defacement, or odor (including smoking in a non-smoking vehicle) that is not the responsibility of AMUSE RENTACAR and requires vehicle repairs or cleaning, etc. during that period.

*NOCs generated by theft, defacement, or odor that are not the responsibility of AMUSE RENTACAR are not applicable.

The coverage program (CDW / NOC) does not apply to the following cases.

When there was no prescribed procedure such as contacting the police or us from the accident scene in the case of an accident.
Please contact the police and AMUSE RENTACAR immediately regardless of the size of the damage, the presence or absence of the other party, or whether you are the perpetrator of the accident or the victim of the accident.

Violations of the Rental Agreement
Violation of the Road Traffic Act or other laws and regulations, drinking, drug use, unauthorized extension of use, driving by a person other than the renter or a driver indicated at the time of rental, sublease, unlicensed driving, reckless driving, using the rental vehicle in violation of public order and morals, settlement without our consent, failure to cooperate in the settlement of an accident, etc.
When applicable to any of the grounds for exemption from compensation plan, or when payment is excluded, etc.
Damage caused by intentional acts, alcohol consumption, drug use, flat tire or tire damage, loss of wheel caps, etc. In addition, damage caused to property owned, used or controlled by the customer (renter or driver).
In the event of fault in use or management
When the vehicle is stolen due to parking with the key in the ignition, loss of the key, damage resulting from improper parking, etc., defacement or odor of interior equipment (including smoking in a non-smoking vehicle), loss of equipment, damage due to mishandling or improper installation of equipment, mistaken refueling, damage caused by driving off roads such as beaches or riverbeds, etc.
*When losing the key, the customer shall be responsible for the actual costs incurred by AMUSE RENTACAR to deliver the key as well as the actual key.
