What to bring on the day / Procedures / Departure

  1. 01What to bring on the day

    Please bring the following items on the day.

    Please bring a valid driver’s license (for all drivers)

    *In case of an international driver’s license or foreign driver’s license, a passport or other documents are required.

    Email with your reservation number

    • Vehicle receptions and returns must be made by the person who made the reservation.
    • A printout of reservation confirmation email is also acceptable.

    ETC Card

    *Not required if you do not plan to use it.

  2. 02Reception and lending

    AMUSE RENTACAR offers two types of rentals.
    One at our AMUSE RENTACAR Chitose location and another at a location designated by you in Chitose.
    Please call us if you would like rent from the AMUSE RENTACAR Chitose location and our staff will pick you up at the New Chitose Airport.

  3. 03Explanation, Car check

    Our staff will explain “contract details”, “compensation” and “equipment and operation method of the car”.

    Please check the condition of the car (scratches, fuel, distance, etc.) with the staff.

  4. 04Departure

    If you are using a child seat, please be sure to check by yourself that it is firmly fixed.

    Please set the destination of the car navigation system, adjust the seat position, the direction of the mirror, etc., and be sure to wear seat belts for both the driver and passengers and start safely.

Going to be late for the return / Accident / Parking Violation

I’m going to be late for the return

If you are likely to be late for the return time, or if there is a change return, please contact us as soon as possible.
Also, shop has different business hours, so please be sure to contact us in advance. If the return time is overdue, an overage fee may be charged.

I had an accident

Give priority to the first aid of the injured and call the police (110) at the scene. After that, please contact us by phone.
Please note that the optional indemnity coverage is different from insurance and does not cover all expenses that may be incurred as a result of an accident. If you are concerned about this, please consider purchasing insurance in advance.

I made a parking violation

Complete the prescribed procedures as requested by the police. Please also pay the fine at the designated financial institution.
We will check the Traffic Violation Notice and the payment slip/receipt with the date of receipt when you return the vehicle.

Flow until return

Return full fuel / Car Return / Car check / Charge settlement (Only if reimbursement is required)

01Return full fuel

When returning the rental car, please return it with a full tank of fuel. Also, you need a receipt when you refuel. If you can’t fill it up, you can pay at the return shop.

02Return to the designated location

We will inform you of the return location when you rent the vehicle, so please be sure to arrive before the designated time (the return location is usually the AMUSE RENTACAR Chitose location).
Please call us when you arrive. Our staff will head out to greet you.

03Car check

Please check the condition of the car (scratches, fuel, distance, etc.) with the staff. Please be careful not to forget anything.

04Charge settlement

If there are additional charges such as extension charges, please settle the charges.
